Volunteers are the absolute beating heart of ROX. Without you we simply cannot operate. Our ethos is one of hard work, honesty and being part of a great team. At the festival you’ll be given a health and safety briefing, a nice lunch and a crew T-Shirt. We ask in return you volunteer at least one full day of the festival if you can.
If you’re wearing the shirt we expect you to abide by our strict no drugs/alcohol policies whilst on duty and be under no illusions that it’s hard, gritty work. Tasks are rotated through teams, but you may be asked to pick up litter and clean toilets, both tough jobs but just as vitally important as working in production or backstage.
We need volunteers all year round, not just for the festival itself. Everyone has something to offer ROX, even if it’s just time, and we never expect more than you are willing to give. If you’d like to get involved get in touch – you’ll be amongst friends.
